Ben Orford flat curve hook knife
This is a fantastic knife for hollowing out shallow spoon bowls such as those found in eating spoons.
The flat open curve means that more of the blade is in contact with the wood fibres, leading to a much smoother finish on the bowl. This means it is also a great little finishing knife, useful for removing the tool marks left by hook knives with a more pronounced curve.
Like all of Ben's knives, they feel great in the hand and the quality is superb, and the handmade blade is super sharp and ready to carve. The comfortable handle is made from English elm.
Handmade in the UK.
